Clean Up Your Drinking!

News Flash- the best quality water does not come out of a city faucet. Filtered water is a great idea, but Brita filters don’t do much beyond editing the flavor. Bottled water is often just the tap water of another city!

What This Tells Us

While this testing is important, it does not tell the entire picture. Obviously, if it was noticed that something was way out of range, the issue would get fixed immediately. Thankfully, a lot of that testing is done continuously and employees are alerted immediately of critical issues.
Some of the levels of contaminants are on the high end of their acceptable range. Does that still make it acceptable to you?

What It Doesn’t

What these reports may not cover are the contaminants that are not as flashy. Heavy metals, pesticide runoff, plastic particulate, pharmaceutical and recreational drug residue can also be found in water supplies.

They also seem proud to proclaim that Fluoride, a known neurotoxin, is present (and often added!).

Also, your building’s plumbing must be taken into the picture of water quality. Is it old? Metals could be leaching in to your water, including lead! Is it very new and plastic? That’s not so great, either.
