I am obsessed with these glasses. They are great for gloomy days!

Wisconsin can get so monotone during the winter months when the skies are always grey and the ground is covered in white. I have used these glasses to improve my mood to avoid experiencing the symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). I can see why these glasses are named SummerGlo! Even in the winter, they put me into a glowing and happy mood, as if I was laying out in the warm sunshine.

Thankfully it is summertime now, but we still get days with cloudy, overcasts skies. SummerGlo glasses block out blue light and give everything a warm yellow glow. It may look strange in pictures, but once you’re immersed in it, your entire mood lifts!

What’s The Deal With Blue Light

We are naturally exposed to a multitude of colored light wavelengths during the day. Blue light peaks midday. Exposure to blue light after sunset messes with our circadian rhythm and can lead to trouble sleeping.

When our eyes view screens, we take in an unnatural amount of blue light, often at the incorrect time of day.
