The Importance of Self Care

In all honesty, today was not great and nothing went as planned.

I didn’t get enough sleep overnight and was startled awake.

I barely got the garbage can down to the street in time, my daughter was uncooperative and the rest of the day seemed to spiral from there.

I was going to do a live video today to promote the event on Friday, but I really couldn’t get in alignment with it. In the end, I decided not to, because it didn’t feel genuine.

When I show up for you, I need to embody the spirit of wellness. It’s something I need to feel deeply and let it shine through.

I know the importance of mindset. I know the importance of self care.

So, instead of doing more of what I “should” do, I cuddled up with my daughter and took a nap.

I KNEW my body needed more sleep, and getting enough sleep helps me be the best version of me.

I now feel so much better after giving myself some love and grace for how today has gone!

I will admit that today was not my best, but I gave it everything I had. It has reinforced how important it is for me to feel healthy in order for me to share things about wellness with you. I need to do that self care to be the role model you deserve 💕
