Air Tubes

Air Tubes

Did you know that both standard cabled earbuds and wireless earbuds emit EMF radiation in the form of microwaves near your brain? That’s not something I want to expose my body to, especially when you think about how many hours a day earbuds are worn!

I want to stay as EMF-free as possible, so I have been using air tube style earbuds for years. I just recently ordered myself a high quality pair from Bon Charge and I was so excited to receive them!

So, I unboxed my new Bon Charge Air Tubes earbuds. They come with a wonderful rigid yet soft zippered case, with several options for earbud tip size, wings, and a cable clothing clip. The cord is incredibly flexible, braided and coated. It seems very durable! All in all, they definitely feel way more sturdy and higher quality than those found from stores such as Amazon.

Of course, the most important part is the air tube itself. This is a hollow section of flexible tubing, located at the area closest to your head. Sound travels from the end of the cord and is projected through a speaker into the tubes, and then into the earbuds. Traditional earbuds have the speaker right in your ear, but these allow for the sound to have more depth. The tubes are described as “air-filled acoustic chambers” and the sound quality is great! Plus, these tubes are SO MUCH more flexible than the cheaper pairs I’ve purchased in the past (see my old pair w/the stiff blue tubes in the photo).

Today, I’ve used my new air tubes to listen to music, and for a zoom coaching call. They are also great for brain balancing with Binaural Beats Meditations. I am so happy with my purchase!
